Twice a year we run an off-site for the whole business. A few years ago there was just the six of us, now it's over 30! Boo-yeah!
As a business we feel like we have the right strategy, and now it is all about building and executing, so the whole week was dedicated to how we can become a higher performance team. I have taken two of the mindsets from the offsite and woven them in below, hopefully they help you too.
You can't fatten a pig on market day
When I wrote this original article nearly two years ago, it was born from seeing companies make a similar mistake time and again. They would wait until they needed the market for something, funds or a vote, and then start communicating.
