Prediction for 2026: AI will drive us offline
AI is flooding our feeds with content that is getting harder to tell from the real thing. My prediction is that this erosion of trust will push investors towards live video, webinars and in-person events.

I think AI is going to have an unintended impact: I think it is going to drive us away from generic, and towards more "real world" experiences.
Looking through my feeds on LinkedIn, Instagram and Reddit, it used to be easy to spot the AI content. Images were screwed up, text followed the same pattern or was littered with the same punctuation. But now it is getting harder to spot the fake content.
AI is driving up the volume of content, but eroding trust along the way, because you have to wonder what is real and what isn't. That's part of the reason I have started to do single take videos on LinkedIn. But I have also started to wonder what the longer term impacts, and the impacts on the market, are:
