A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Mark Tobin, the brains behind Coffee Microcaps. If you're not familiar with it, Coffee Microcaps is a platform that brings microcap companies and investors together through webinars and in-person conferences. Mark isn't new to the game; he's honed his skills as an equity analyst, working for big names like Wilson Asset Management.

What intrigued me about Mark was his dual perspective on investor marketing. On one side, he's got the analytical mind of an equity analyst, dissecting market data and understanding the nitty-gritty details. On the flip side, he's a communicator, a mediator between companies and investors. He knows how to break down complex information into digestible bits that retail investors can grasp. So, naturally, I had one burning question: what's the right balance?
